Registration, Cost of Classes, Cancellations, and Refunds

Registration

Registration for most of the classes is open to anyone. Some classes will only be available for licensed behavioral health providers. Class 4 on Upsetting Events and Trauma is available only for licensed behavioral health or medical professionals. To join these classes, you will need to provide your current behavioral health or medical license and the state or province of registration. After your license has been verified, you can register for the class.

Target Audiences: Psychotherapists, Mental Health Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselors, School Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Substance Abuse Counselors. Others who might be interested: Speech Language Pathologists, Dentists, Medical Doctors, Physical Therapists, Psychiatrists, Nurses, and Occupational Therapists.

Cost of Classes

Each asynchronous, on-demand class has a separate cost and separate CE hours. This allows participants to take the classes at the pace they want to complete training and allows participants to budget more easily for each class. Classes range in cost from $40 to $122 per class. The first class is an introductory price and the remaining classes are currently based on $35/CE hour. Live classes may have a different pricing structure.

Other live options including practicums, consultations, and intensives have separate costs. Please contact Diana regarding costs for these.

Live Classes

If you cannot make it to a live Zoom training you have registered for and give notice at least 24 hours before a registered class, you can transfer to a different date offered by Diana Sturm, LPC one time without penalty or you can send someone in your place. If you do not attend the live Zoom class, you are forfeiting any refund and will have only one opportunity to transfer to a later date the class is offered. Refund requests must be made at least two weeks before the start of the training, or only a portion of the tuition will be reimbursed. All transfer requests will incur a small administrative fee of $50.

For live group classes, we require a minimum number of students to hold each in person class, group practicum or group consultation. You will be notified several days before a class if the minimum number of students was not reached. You will be given the opportunity to either reschedule the class or be given a full refund.

Severe weather events may cause power or internet outages preventing us from offering the live class on the scheduled day. The instructor lives in an area which experiences hurricanes and severe storms. The instructor will make every effort to present the live class on the dates indicated. In those rare cases where the live class must be cancelled at the last minute, the instructor will offer the students alternative times to complete the live class or to receive a refund.

Asynchronous, On-Demand Classes

Due to the nature of on demand classes, refunds are only available due to technical difficulties within the first 7 days of purchase. The purchaser must have viewed less than 10% of the course to qualify for a refund. The purchaser must notify the instructor of the technical issue and allow the instructor to remedy the issue before a refund will be provided.

There is no conflict of interest or commercial support for this program.
