Diana Sturm is a multipotentialite/polymath. She has multiple degrees and has taught at three different universities for over 13 years. Her undergraduate is in Business Marketing, her first Master’s is in Earth Science with a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences. Her second Master’s and Educational Specialist degrees are in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Diana is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama and has her own private practice. Diana received EFT certification in 2010 from Gary Craig, the founder of EFT; from EFT Universe in 2011, and became certified as an Energy Trainer for the Guild of Energists in 2019. She developed Somatic Tapping in 2021. She offers consultation to therapists on any of the subjects offered here.

I am Diana Sturm, and I am truly honored to share my journey with you. Over the years, I have cultivated a diverse range of skills and expertise that have shaped my path and passion.
I really lucked out when it came to the parent lottery, or should I say, I was fated to be with the parents I had. My parents loved to explore the unknown and were open to learning about a wide range of religions and traditions. At a young age, I learned about reincarnation, using hands to sweep away negative energy, and connecting with spirits. But it was also a very scientific household with a father who was an electrical engineer and brothers who majored in physics and biology. Our family loved the NASA space program as much as Star Trek. My father was one of the founding members of the Mutual UFO Network in Illinois, knew Allen Hynek, and regularly collected reported sightings of UFOs and strange creatures for MUFON. Exploration was key.
Tapping
My venture into the world of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and energy work began in the early 2000s. I took a variety of trainings, but fell in love with tapping since it is a versatile technique which can be added to many other modalities. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my heart is focused on guiding others through the remarkable journey of Tapping.
The captivating world of Tapping lead me to attain my Gary Craig EFT Certification and later training with the Guild of Energists to become an Energy Trainer. My commitment to this technique has driven me to mentor both licensed professionals and individuals, empowering them to conquer seemingly impossible obstacles.
Other Interests
Beyond the realm of counseling and energy work, my interests expand into the realms of geology and business development. Armed with a Master’s in Earth Sciences and Ph.D. in Geology and an undergraduate degree in business, I’ve also honed my skills in marketing and business strategies. I’m active in my local rock & gem club and have a small geology YouTube channel, Uncovering Earth.
A relentless pursuit of knowledge fuels my spirit. My quest led me to earn a second Master’s degree, this time in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, followed by an Educational Specialist in Counseling degree. Presently, I’m an LPC in private practice, specializing in supporting those who’ve encountered trauma and dissociation. My telehealth counseling services extend to clients in Alabama and Florida.
Empathy and warmth are at the core of my being. I am dedicated to walking alongside others, helping them surmount hurdles and reach their aspirations. I draw from a rich tapestry of knowledge, experience, and compassion, fostering an environment of growth and transformation. My unwavering positivity and determination inspire everyone I meet. As a true polymath and lifelong learner, I am driven by an unyielding desire to uplift and empower others.
